Kamala Harris was NEVER assigned to be the "Border Czar" - Video and written evidence support this

UPDATE (Oct 14, 2024) We realized after this blog that there may be a video *somewhere* of Joe Biden actually naming the VP as the "Border Czar," and the we video used as evidence here may be him "correcting himself." If you happen to know of a copy of such a video where Joe actually says or uses the words "Border Czar," please let us know.

Like many of you reading this blog, I thought I heard Kamala be assigned to be the "Border Czar." I even recall watching the video where Biden said something to that nature. But I was wrong.

To be clear, I wanted to hear Kamala and Joe say those words or something like that, but in their usual political mumbo jumbo, COVID masks, and Joe Biden's mumbling, their message was lots with me -- at the time. Again to be very clear, I wanted to find Kamala Harris being named "Border Czar."

The truth is we found no evidence of her being named "Border Czar," but there is evidence to what they have been saying the entire time. Namely, in the video evidence you'll hear what job she was assigned and what she agreed to at the time.

How DID I figure this out?

Luckily for me (and as many of us know) there is an *official* "Border Czar." In this case, her name was Roberta Jacobson - Trump's US ambassador to Mexico, who held over to help transition the Biden Administration. She agreed to stay on until at least the end of April of 2021.

I knew this because of an article that @KimWexlerMAJD had tweeted about - noting the resignation of the "Border Czar" in 2021. HERE is a link to that article:

This article got me started; as I reasoned: Biden had to have made that assignment (to Kamala) before that or after that. So I went down-the-rabbit-hole to find that press briefing - or at least find it in writing. Later I would find out that this resignation came about a month after Kamala got the assignment.

In addition, there was already a border surge since November of 2020, when Joe Biden won the election. So, there were already problems when she Roberta Jacobson resigned.

So it turns out that that Wednesday was March 24, 2021. The same date as the article.

And you should have heard VP Kamala Harris say that she ".. must address the root causes .."

Last, I want to add, even if we argue that Kamala Harris did here job well and successfully, the problem was world-wide -- which was NOT the job she was to tackle.
